WOW!house, the annual showhouse at Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour, closed its doors last week after a month of welcoming visitors through twenty two rooms and gardens designed by some of the UK's most exciting interior talent. Now in its fifth year, WOW!house has become a genuine fixture in the design calendar, and we were proud to play a small part in it this year.
We partnered with interior designer Henri Fitzwilliam-Lay to supply custom sized Oyster Door Pull handles in our Antique Brass finish for her bedroom suite, created in collaboration with Misia for Casamance Group. The room drew on Art Deco glamour, African design influences and a touch of Brutalism, brought together through rich textures, warm tones and considered detailing throughout. Scaling our Oyster pulls to fit Henri's vision meant the hardware could sit properly within the room's proportions rather than being an afterthought, finishing the doors with the same warmth and character as the rest of the scheme.
It was a pleasure to see our hardware included in a room built around such a strong sense of narrative and craft, and to work alongside a designer who clearly puts as much thought into the details as she does the bigger picture. If you missed WOW!house this year, you can read our earlier conversation with Henri about her design process and approach to hardware on the blog.
Thank you to Henri and the wider WOW!house team for having us involved.
