Darwin Tides Curve Half-Moon Cabinet Handle

The Darwin Tides Curve Half-Moon Handle is a solid brass half-moon pull handle with a flowing, wave-like surface texture drawn from the movement of tidal water across sand. Sand cast by hand from solid brass, the surface has a broad, irregular undulation that is softer and more expressive than the linear texture of the Darwin Dune Curve: the ridges shift and pool across the face of the piece in a pattern that no two castings repeat exactly. Sold individually as a single piece. The product photography shows two handles paired together; customers wishing to recreate this effect will need to order two. 

The organic surface carries the visible porosity inherent to the sand-casting process, which is particularly pronounced on this piece and contributes to its natural, unhurried character. No two pieces are identical. Part of the Darwin Organic Collection within the Darwin Brass Collection. Cast from solid brass and hand-finished in the Midlands in a choice of 16 hand-applied finishes.
