Reflecting on London Design Week 2026

London Design Week 2026 marked an exciting moment for us at Henry Blake. Exhibiting as a House Guest on Design Avenue at Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour, we were proud to present our work among an exceptional group of innovative brands and makers, and to connect with interior designers, architects and specifiers from across the industry.

Throughout the week, visitors were invited to explore our solid brass cabinet and door hardware in person, experiencing the weight, finish and craftsmanship that define our collections.

Showcasing solid brass hardware at Chelsea Harbour

Our stand featured a curated selection of historic favourites and new designs, presented in both brass and bronze. From refined classics to more expressive, sculptural forms, the display reflected the breadth of our work and our continued focus on timeless design, material integrity and meticulous detailing.

For many visitors, the tactile experience - lifting a handle, feeling the weight of the brass, seeing the subtle variations in finish - reinforced the importance of material integrity and craftsmanship in high-end interiors.

We also officially unveiled new sizes within our Darwin Lautner Cabinet Knob collection, expanding the range to offer greater flexibility for high-end residential and hospitality projects.

Introducing Henry Blake x Q Design House

A key highlight of the week was the debut of Henry Blake x Q Design House, our new collaborative collection designed by Michelle Katz and Josie Lywood, founders of interior design and architecture studio, Q Design House.

The collection is introduced through two variations of a distinctive cabinet handle, available in multiple lengths. Designed to suit both contemporary and traditional interiors, the handles can be specified for everything from bedside furniture to full-height cabinetry.

Michelle Katz explains: “Henry Blake’s finishes are exceptional, so we wanted to create a design that showcases the beauty of the material without decorative elements that would detract from it. At the same time, the handles needed to work across both contemporary and traditional furniture, and at a range of scales — from bedside tables to oversized doors.”

She continues:

“The varying lengths allow you to really play with placement. I imagine them looking stunning spanning the full height of a wardrobe door, giving a subtle glimmer of the finish along its length.”

Sculptural, design-led pieces crafted in Portugal

In addition to the collaboration, we also previewed a series of design-led, artistic pieces created in-house and crafted in Portugal by one of our specialist manufacturers. These included a sculptural rosette-style design and a slender Art Deco-inspired twist handle, exploring a more expressive, architectural side of our design language.

These pieces offered a glimpse into how we continue to push the boundaries of form while remaining grounded in craftsmanship and material quality.
