Darwin Tides Half-Moon Cabinet Handle

The Darwin Tides Half-Moon Cabinet Handle is a solid brass cabinet-scale half-moon pull with the flowing, wave-like surface texture that defines the Darwin Tides Curve, sold individually as a single piece. The product photography shows two handles paired together; customers wishing to recreate this effect will need to order two. Sand cast by hand from solid brass, the surface has a broad, irregular undulation that is softer and more expressive than the linear texture of the Darwin Dune Curve, with ridges that shift and pool across the face of the piece in a pattern that no two castings repeat exactly.

At cabinet scale the half-moon form suits drawer fronts, cabinet doors and furniture joinery where the hardware is intended to carry as much visual interest as the surrounding scheme. The organic surface carries the visible porosity inherent to the sand-casting process, which is particularly pronounced on this piece and contributes to its natural, unhurried character. No two pieces are identical.
